Will Vinovest automatically sell my wine when it’s at peak value? What if I want to sell my wine before then?

Our team keeps track of each wine’s maturity date, which corresponds with its peak value. When your wines are ready to sell, we will notify you. While most clients sell their wines at peak value, you can also choose to have your bottles shipped to you to drink or continue storing them.

If you want to sell your wine prematurely, you can do so. However, we strongly recommend that you wait to sell until your wine reaches its peak. Since secondary market buyers are typically only interested in wines that are ideal for consumption, young wines often have limited liquidity due to that relative lack of demand. 

If you still wish to sell prematurely, you can list your wines for sale on the Vinovest marketplace. Because a sale is contingent on attracting a willing buyer at your specified price point, Vinovest cannot guarantee a timeline for the execution of the transaction and liquidation of your holdings.
