What whiskeys are available to invest in? Where are they sourced? Do I get to choose the whiskey cask or distillery?

Vinovest offers two types of whiskey (or whisky, depending on where you live): American whiskey and single-malt Scotch whisky. 

For American whiskey, we partner with EthanolUS, an industry leader in bulk distilling based in Wyoming. Our American whiskey offerings start at about $1,750 per cask, with a typical optimal hold time of three to six years.

For single-malt Scotch, we partner with bespoke luxury single malt producers to source casks from a range of storied and respected brands, including The Macallan, Highland Park, Benriach, Ardmore, and Lagavulin. Scotch casks will vary in price and have hold times ranging from a few years to a few decades.

If you’re a Starter or Plus client, we will select the whiskey that best matches your unique investing goals. 

Premium and Grand Cru clients enjoy more input and personalization, including choosing specific distilleries and types of whiskey. Contact a portfolio manager to learn more about investing in rare casks.

There are occasionally some managed portfolio whiskeys available on the Marketplace as well!
