Is there a best time of year to have my wine shipped?

In fact, there is: the optimal time to ship your wine is in the spring or fall, when the cool weather minimizes the chance of spoilage. 

We do not recommend shipping wines in the summer or winter months.  The extreme temperatures can have a negative effect on the quality of the wine. For this reason, all wine shipments are paused during the warmer months and resume in the autumn as temperatures fall.
